Doesn't seem to work with gated/privated models with a write access api key

Tried doing a merge of some models, some are gated, some are privated, and it fails saying that it doesn't have access/it doesn't exist (showing a link to a config.json, which loads fine when checking the link). Which is weird, since it has enough access to make the repo where it's asked, but not enough access to download the weights.
