Sang-hyeona, a professor of the Department of Forestry Resources, was selected as one of the '21st century 2000 intellectuals' by the International Biographical Center(IBC). Last year, Professor Lee was recorded in Marquis Who's Who in the World, one of the three biographical dictionaries produced with the IBC. Also, nowadays, he is on the list of the world biographical dictionary, being recognized for contributions to study development of forestry administration. Professor Lee announced plenty of domestic theses and SCI(Science Citation Index) theses which are involved with forestry administration and forestry growth models, and he will release three theses in the International Union of Forest Research Organizations(IUFRO) Seoul General Meeting in Autumn 2010. Now, he is operating an investigation about 'carbon dioxide absorption of city forests' for enlargement of forest parts.
