 announceda that it secured a forward base to build a campus in Saemangeum. aCBNU was transferred land free of charge in Saemangeum free economic zone in Gunsan, Osikdodong, by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance. The market value of this land is over ten billion won. The land is considered not only to fit university industry collaboration but also the role of an axis of green growth energy technology. It is only three kilometers away from Bieunghang, where Saemangeum’s breakwater starts and there are various companies. aCBNU is planning to build an infrastructure to perform a role of global university-industry collaboration and a green energy research cluster through investment of 33 billion won by 2015.
